Need to make a withdrawal from the Tefillin Bank?

In an ambitious campaign to give every "Jew in need" a set of tefillin, Chabad Lubavitch has created the Kushner International Tefillin Bank. The Lubavitcher Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson, encouraged the use of tefillin in 1967 as a shield for Israel, and since it has become a trademark of the movement to stop people in their tracks to wrap tefillin on the street. The "bank" ships out phylacteries all over the world, and has now made deliveries to six continents. And if you're really broke, just ask for a "loan," and pray for some real cash.
