The UK's biggest ever kosher barbeque saw over 350 people tucking into a feast of delights to mark Lag B’Omer, the thirty-third day of the omer and the date on which between Passover and Shavuot when celebrations are allowed.
Organised by Friends of Lubavitch UK, the evening held in Manchester Square in London's West End was aimed at people between the ages of 25-40.
For £20, those attending tucked into a vast array of food including hot dogs, schawarma and salads and Friends of Lubavitch UK hope to organise another event in the summer.
"There's great demand out there for these types of events." said spokesperson Rachel Isaac-Saul. "We are doing a summer party but not sure whether it will be a bbq or not just yet."
As well as organising outside events, Friends of Lubavitch UK host five Friday night meals a year at a London hotel to provide the Jewish public with an opportunity to take part in a traditional Friday night experience
